¹ Understanding your participation

1. Purpose of the Insider Program (“Program”)

The purpose of the Program is for Simplii Financial™ to better understand your experiences with our products and services. Your participation in this Program is voluntary and your written and/or spoken opinions, thoughts and ideas will help us modify, develop, or improve Simplii Financials’ products and services. Participation in the Program is available to all existing clients of Simplii who (i) hold an active account that is in good standing, (ii) are legal residents of Canada, (iii) 19 years of age or older as of the date of the survey, (iv) have been sent an invitation to register for the Program; and (v) are not employees of Simplii Financial. Any links sent for Program or survey registration may not be used by anyone other than the person to whom it is addressed.

2. Your involvement in the Program

During the Program, we may record you and your opinions, thoughts and ideas on audio and/or video, through research-related activities such as a survey, review, concept test, or customer interview (“Research Activities”). Simplii Financial and its agents and/or representatives will collect and use any opinions and/or information (including personal information) you provide while participating in Research Activities for the purpose of modifying, developing, or improving Simplii Financials’ products and services. All feedback will be anonymized and will never be shared publicly without your permission. You waive any right to confidentiality of any information and/or opinions provided in connection with a Research Activity.

3. Payment of Research Activity incentive

Program participants will have the opportunity to receive incentives in connection with your completion of or participation in a Research Activity. The incentive being offered for a Research Activity will be disclosed with each Insider Program invitation or on the Invitation Message within the Simplii app. If a Program participant qualifies to receive an incentive under these terms, the incentive will be deposited or credited to the Program participant’s account in good standing (including a joint account) in the following order of priority, as applicable: No Fee Chequing Account, High Interest Savings Account, Personal Line of Credit Account, or Cash Back Visa Card. Please allow up to one month after completing the Research Activity for the incentive to be deposited or credited to the applicable account.

4. Confidentiality

In connection with your participation in the Program, you may have the opportunity to review or access confidential and proprietary information, materials, products and content (“Restricted Content”) belonging to Simplii Financial and/or Simplii Financial’s clients, partners and/or licensors. In no event shall you obtain or receive any right, title and/or interest in or to any Restricted Content.

You agree:

not to use or disclose the Restricted Content at any time except as directed in writing by Simplii Financial;
not to use the Restricted Content either directly or indirectly, or disseminate, disclose, or publish the Restricted Content without the express written permission of Simplii Financial;
to maintain the confidential nature of the Restricted Content by taking reasonable steps to protect the Restricted Content from unauthorized use, access and disclosure; and
that if you breach or otherwise violate the restrictions, limitations and prohibitions contained in this section, in addition to any other rights or remedies available to Simplii Financial, Simplii Financial reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Program and recover damages that Simplii Financial may suffer.
