Yes, we introduced a new logo on June 14, 2023 as part of our style refresh.

There are no changes to the way you bank with us, and there aren't any changes to our products. Our website, mobile banking app and online banking have just been updated with our new logo, colours and photography style.

Simplii is the bank of now and we wanted our new, more modern style — including joyful imagery of folks living in the moment — to celebrate that.

Your everyday banking still works the same as it always has. You can use your existing debit or credit card and cheques as usual.

Yes, you can keep using your existing cheques. Cheques with our new logo and colours will roll out over time.

All your Simplii cards will continue to work just like always.

No, Simplii is still backed by CIBC. We’ve just updated our logo, colours and photography style.

• Not everyone will get a new debit or credit card right away. We didn’t want to disrupt our services, so we continued to order debit and credit cards in our previous style.
• Instead of wasting our existing stock, we’ll slowly phase out the debit and credit cards in our current style as they expire.
• All the functionality, features and benefits of your debit or credit card remain the same, no matter what style it is.

Yes. There are absolutely no changes to how you bank.

None of our contact centres, products or services have changed, and we’re still a division of CIBC.

We're rolling out the refresh in stages so we prioritized the pages and materials our clients use most. Our entire website and all materials will eventually reflect our updated style. In the meantime, there may be a combination of the old and new styles.

Our credit-card statements will be updated in the new style starting in July.
